Mr. Elliott B. Davis, 89 of Seaboard, passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at Vidant Roanoke Chowan in Ahoskie, NC. Elliott was a lifelong member of Galatia Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and also taught the Men's Sunday School Class for many years. He served as a messenger to the West Chowan Association for several years also. Elliott used his musical ability in church where he was organist/pianist for almost 50 years. He could always be depended on for all occasions such as weddings or funerals not only at Galatia but other churches as well. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Clara Nelson Davis, a brother, Joe Davis and sisters Elvira Butler and Ollie Eure. Elliott is survived by his brother Marion Davis and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside Service will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at 11am at the Davis Family Cemetery in Faison's Old Tavern. Rev. Matthew Dupuy will be conducting the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Pine Forest Rest Home, 3277 NC-35, Potecasi, NC 27867.
