Elizabeth Casper Scott entered her eternal life on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at her home.

She was born on September 9, 1937 in Hertford County to the late Queen Parker and Willie Casper.

She was a native of Durham, North Carolina before moving to Roanoke Rapids. She was employed by Duke Medical Center and was preceded in death by her three sisters.

She is survived by her brother, John Casper and his wife, Jeanette of Durham, North Carolina; her daughter, Dana Taylor and her husband, Steve of Edenton; her granddaughter, Nicole Moore and her husband and two children also of Edenton, North Carolina; and her cousin, Sandra Brabble Matthews who was also her caregiver.

No services will be held but she will be laid to rest in the Casper Family Cemetery in Gates County.
