Edward Ivy "Pete" Daniel, 75, of Roanoke Rapids died on Wednesday, November 23, 2022.

Pete was a native of Halifax County and was the son of the late Edward Ivy Daniel and Mandy Nelson Daniel. He proudly served his Country in the United States Marines.

He's survived by his wife, Helen Harp Daniel of 52 years, his daughters, Anita Daniel of Chesapeake, Virginia and Melissa Daniel Carter and her husband, Jamie of Roanoke Rapids; his son, Paul Daniel and Becky Lynn of Roanoke Rapids his seven grandchildren, Elizabeth Bell  and Stephen Love of Roanoke Rapids, Harley Lyons and Justin Mabrey of Jackson, Alan Lyons and his wife, Shannon of Roanoke Rapids, Daniel Lyons of Jackson, Bohdi Lane Daniel, Emily Daniel, Amanda Louise Daniel; six great grandchildren; his aunt, Joyce Harp and his uncle David Earl Harp and his wife Crystal both of Roanoke Rapids.

Graveside service will be held on Monday, November 28, 2022 at Cedarwood Cemetery in Roanoke Rapids at 2:00 P. M. with Rev. Randy Martin officiating.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 3:00-4:30 P.M. at Askew Funeral and Cremation Services in Roanoke Rapids.
