Obituary

On July 29, 2022 God answered our prayers. He completely healed Our Sweet Star. She is now at complete peace! Even-though our hearts are mourning; you are in His glorious Presence. Heaven and Earth May separate us today but know my sweet girl that Your life was a blessing and your memory a treasure that will forever shine bright in our hearts. You touched so many lives in such a short time. Thank you for marking our lives in such a way only you knew how to. Te Amo Mi Dulce Estrella She is survived by her parents, Joaquin Pineda Villa and Alexis Matias Santiago; her two brothers, Jonathan Perez Matias and Anthony Perez Matias; her paternal grandparents, Ruben Pineda Navarro and Celia Villa Cabrera; her maternal grandparents, Gilberto Matias Lopez and Marilu Santiago Jacome; her uncle and aunt Gilberto Matias Santiago and Maria Delamora; her uncles, Edward Matias Santiago, Christopher Matias Santiago, Jose Antonio Pineda Villa, Rodrigo Pineda Villa and Lucio Pineda Villa; also surviving her very special family friends Kristina Anderton "Aunt Chi Chi," Kimberly Crutchlow, "Aunt Loco", Dee Williams "Mama Dee." Roy and Rosa Porter and Kendall Dixon as well as the entire staff of Communtiy Home Care and Hospice. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Askew Funeral & Cremation Services. Interment will immediately follow in Cedarwood Cemetery in Roanoke Rapids. A visitation with friends and family will be held one hour prior to the services from 10:00 am until service time at the funeral home on Saturday.
