Dru Mealhouse Davis, age 65, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 19, 2022. Born August 24, 1956, Dru was the daughter of the late Mary Frances (Frankie) Bendall. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband of more than 40 years, Norman Lee Davis, Jr. and her very special uncle, Dickie Bendall. She is survived by her aunt, Joan Bendall; sisters in law Nancy Davis Wood and Janet Davis Sykes; nieces Christy Wood Loyd, Sara Curtis Sykes; nephew Justin Davis Sykes; her very devoted and long time friend, Pat Whalen, and Pats supportive family; and her precious fur baby, Snowflake; along with numerous cousins. A Funeral Service to celebrate Dru's life will be held Thursday, June 23, 2022 at 2:00 PM at East Tenth Christian Church with Pastor Jason Yeatts officiating.
