Doris Faye Powell, age 87, passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2024.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond L. "Rabbit" Dickens and Penny Crawley Dickens, her husband, John Powell, her son, Tony Watson and her brother, Buck Dickens.

She is survived by her sons, Mike Little (Joy) of Gaston, NC and Billy Watson of Florida; her daughter, Penny Wright (Doug) of Lancaster, California; her sister, Louise Dickens of Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina; her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, January 10, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Maranatha Baptist Church on Zoo Road in Roanoke Rapids with Pastor Mike Little officiating.
