Donald Ray Crumpler, 87, was called home to be with the Lord on April 14, 2025, after a long battle with Alzheimer's. He was born on January 25, 1938 in Kenly, NC to the late Winston Crumpler and Beatrice Bass Crumpler. Donald graduated from Atlantic Christian College, taught math and science at Princeton High School, and retired in 1990 after 30 years. He was a dedicated Christian and member of Lake Gaston Baptist Church.

In his spare time, Donald enjoyed the hobbies of traveling, fishing, and hunting. He and Christine traveled to all 50 states, many provinces in Canada, several European countries, Australia, New Zealand, and multiple Caribbean Islands while cruising.

A service to celebrate Donald's life will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at 12:00 PM at Lake Gaston Baptist Church, Littleton, NC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM.

Donald is survived by his wife of 64 years, Christine Crumpler; daughters, Debra Fitzgerald and husband, Robert and Lisa Brown and husband, Jonathan; grandchildren, Tyler Fitzgerald, Wesley Fitzgerald, Noah Brown and wife Hannah, and Hannah Brown.
