Dolores Conley Bowman, 92 of Ahoskie passed away on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at Vidant Roanoke Chowan. She was born in Ashland, KY in 1929 to the late Edwin F. Conley, Sr. and Opal Prose Conley and was preceded in death by her husband, The Reverend Daniel Dwight Bowman Sr.; her daughter, Susan Carroll Chandler; her sister, Marlene Casey; her brother Edwin Conley, Jr. and her sister, Sandy Gentry. Mrs. Bowman was a lifetime member of The Order of The Eastern Star; loved reading books and gardening. She is survived by her son, Danny Bowman, Jr. and his fiancee' Betty F. Jones of Milwaukee, NC; her daughters, Bobbe Vanags of San Antonio, TX, Barsha Jean Hasty and her husband, Rupert of Williamston, NC and Sandy Brock-Justice of Cofield, NC; her sister, Barsha Thompson; her grandchildren, Todd Bowman, Lee Jones, Suzanne Hudson, Sean Chandler, Shanna Chandler, Starlynn Hasty, Ashleigh Hasty, Candace Bowen, Joshua Brock and Kyle Brock; her great-grandchildren, Chloe Jones, Jesse Jones, Christian Chandler, Levi Chandler, Jesse King, Jr., Kristen Hudson, Jamie Hudson, Caelyn Nipper, Gavon Nipper, Bella Ivey, Devin Everett, Rockwel Hasty, Haiden Bowen and Caleb Bowen Colin, Brock, Carter Brock, Cade Brock, Wednesday Brock and Kylie Brock; her great-great-grandchild, Jacob Mahoney. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at 2pm at Askew Funeral Service-Jackson Chapel with Rev. Robert Barmer officiating. Interment will follow in Milwaukee Cemetery in Milwaukee, NC. The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 14, 2021 from 12:30pm until service time at the funeral home.
