Danny Stephen Bryant, Sr., age 63, of Roanoke Rapids, passed away on January 19, 2024.

He was born in Chowan County to the late Jack Eldridge Bryant, Sr. and Jean Sumner Bryant. Danny was also preceded in death by his sister, Rhonda Stanley and his brother, Jack Eldridge Bryant, Jr. He worked in the construction industry most of his life.

He is survived by his daughter, Rhianna Bryant Barlow and her husband, Nathan of Roanoke Rapids and his son, Danny Stephen Bryant, Jr., also of Roanoke Rapids; his grandchildren, Makayla Haislip, Tanner Barlow, Jacob Barlow, Weston Barlow, Kalie Bryant, Grayson Driver, Josie Driver, Everly Driver, Camden Butts and Madie Butts.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM on Thursday, February 1, 2024 in the chapel of Askew Funeral and Cremation Services in Roanoke Rapids with Rev. John Rowland officiating.

The family will receive friends after the service.
