Clarine B. Outland, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully at home on September 3, 2026. She was reunited with her beloved husband, Edward Outland. Born on January 11, 1944, Clarine lived a life filled with love, family, and countless memories. She will always be remembered for the love she gave, the warmth she shared, and the special place she held in the hearts of those who knew her.

The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to Tesha Walker, Cheryl Outland, and Kelly Roye for the love, care, kindness, patience, and support they gave to Clarine throughout their time in her life. Each of them became a special part of Clarine’s journey, and their presence meant so much to her and to her family. Their compassion, dedication, and genuine love for Clarine brought comfort, companionship, and countless meaningful moments. The time they shared with her and the care they provided will forever be remembered and deeply appreciated by the entire family.

Clarine leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughters, Barbara Babb and Melinda Outland; her granddaughters, Brittany Byrum and Taylor Martowska; and her great-grandchildren, Noah, Natalie, Piper, and Chris, Jr. She also leaves behind her sister-in-law, Beatrice Barnes, and her niece, Michelle Jones, along with many other family members and loved ones whose lives she touched.

Among the many special relationships Clarine shared, her bond with her great-grandson, Noah was truly one of a kind. Noah was not only her great-grandson, but also her best friend. The special bond they shared brought joy, laughter, and countless memories that will forever be treasured.

Though she may no longer be here in person, Clarine’s love and memory will live on through her family and the many lives she touched. The memories she created will forever be treasured, and her love will remain in the hearts of her family for generations to come. Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever remembered.

A graveside service will be held Sunday, September 6, 2026 at 4:30 PM at the Outland Family Cemetery, Lasker Golf Course Road, Lasker, NC, 27845 with Rev. Randy Martin officiating.

Arrangements are being handled by locally owned and operated Askew Funeral and Cremation Services in Jackson.
