Christy Rome Seuis Plyler, 54 of Roanoke Rapids, NC passed away on October 18, 2024.

She was born on February 23, 1970 in Halifax County and was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Addison Christine Hargrave and her brother, George Danny Seuis.

Christy loved her kids and grandkids, the beach and salt water taffy. She attended Calvary Baptist Church and Bread of Life Church.

Christy is survived by her husband, Brad Plyler; her daughters, Brittney Hargrave and her husband, Robert of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Christina Brooke Stevenson, Roanoke Rapids, NC, Ashley Plyler and her husband, Tyler of Roanoke Rapids, NC; her son, Dalton Plyler of Roanoke Rapids, NC; her granddaughters, Autumn Hargrave, Abbigail Hargrave, Cameron Jones, And Delilah Heustess; her father and mother, George Jerome and Cordelia Seuis; her sisters, Amy James and Jimmie, and Mandy Bailey; her three nieces, Ellen Wilma, Exia Pair and Julia James; her mother-in-law, Wanda Plyler; her special Caregiver, Linda Arrington and her special furry friend, "Trashy."

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Askew Funeral & Cremation Services with Rev. Ethan Davis officiating.

Interment will follow in Crestview Memorial Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at 1:00 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
