Christopher Brian "Chris" Parrott Parrott, of Roanoke Rapids died Friday June 26, 2020. Chris was the son of the late Charles Franklin and Joann Houston Parrott. Chris was employed with Weldon Steel. Chris known to many as "Yamma" loved to cook on the grill, he had an infectious smile and would do anything for anyone. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer M. Parrott; his daughters, Bridgette Parrott and Briana Parrott both of Roanoke Rapids; his step daughter, Jenna Little; stepson's Nicholas "Nick" Little of the home and Jay Valencia of Norfolk, Va; his brother's Charles Franklin "Chuck" Parrott and his wife Patti of Wilmington and W.J. Parrott and his wife, Tammi of Roanoke Rapids. Graveside services will be held Wednesday July 1, 2020 at 11 am at Cedarwood Cemetery in Roanoke Rapids with Dr Layne Wallace officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday June 30, 2020 from 6:30-8 pm at Askew Funeral and Cremation services in Roanoke Rapids.
