Casey Lee Houchin, 49, passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2024, at her home in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina. She was born on August 22, 1975 to Janice and Edward Houchin. Ed was deceased before Casey was born. She is survived by her mother, Jancie Hubble, of the home, her brother, Brandon Hubble (Karin and Lucas) of Taipei, Taiwan, and her brother, Austin Hubble of Alexandria, Virginia.

Casey was a member of a workshop starting at the age of one. At the age of 5, she started public school and attended until age 20. She became a member of the workshop, EVCO (later named SET) for the next twenty-five years until it closed due to COVID. She also attended a special class through HCC for many years. She greatly enjoyed SMILES dances and seldom missed one. She was so very sweet and loved her family and friends.

A private memorial service will be held at the graveside where Casey will be buried in Olney, Illinois next to her deceased father, Edward Houchin.
