Carl Kent Britt 62, of Winterville died on Wednesday December 14, 2022.

Kent was the son, of the  late Carl Russell Britt and Peggy Barnes Britt who survives. He grew up in Milwaukee, North Carolina. Kent loved the farm, driving the tractor, going to Hatteras and his beloved Tar Heels. He worked for Hyster-Yale for 34 years in Greenville.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Williams Britt and their fur baby "Cooper", his mother, Peggy Barnes Britt of Milwaukee; his sisters, Ramona Britt Fiorilli and husband, Mario, of Raleigh; Rita Britt McCoy of Washington, NC; his brothers, Pollock Britt and fiancée, Tonya Beckner, of Conway; John Britt and wife, Lisa, of Winterville; mother-in-law, Carol Williams of Winterville; his father-in-law, John Williams, Sr. of Lake Gaston; brother-in-law John Williams, Jr and his wife, Penny and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday December 18, 2022 at the Milwaukee Cemetery in Milwaukee, NC with Rev. Carol Taylor officiating.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 4:30-6:00 pm at Askew Funeral and Cremation Services Jackson-Chapel at 313 E Jefferson Street Jackson, NC.
