Carl Edwin Harrison, 65, of Roanoke Rapids, NC passed away on Monday, April 6, 2020. Carl was preceded in death by his father, Carl P. Harrison and his granddaughter, Hayden Odom. Edwin was employed at WestRock Paper Mill. He was an avid hunter and loved camping on the river, loved NASCAR and watching westerns. His grandchildren were the light of his life. He is survived by his wife, Debra B. Harrison, Daughter Misty Odom and her husband, Jeremy of Roanoke Rapids; granddaughter, Hayley Hester of Roanoke Rapids; grandson, Ayden Odom; his mother, Carmen Harrison of Roanoke Rapids; his mother-in-law, Shirley Bridgeman; his four brothers, Chuck Harrison and his wife Melissa of Roanoke Rapids, Eric Harrison of Roanoke Rapids, Mark Harrison and his wife, Beth of Roanoke Rapids, Matt Harrison of Roanoke Rapids, and his sister, Vonda Gibson and her husband, Wayne also of Roanoke Rapids, numerous nieces and nephews and a special friend Tony Warren of Roanoke Rapids. Graveside services are private and will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2020 at 1pm with Rev. Randy Martin officiating in Cedarwood Cemetery in Roanoke Rapids.
