ROANOKE RAPIDS, NC – Bryleigh Na`Shea Mendoza entered earth on August 24, 2024. She passed away peacefully in the arms of her loving mother and entered the pearly gates of heaven where she met the eyes of Jesus on October 10, 2024.

Heaven's gain was our loss when our precious angel was called by our Lord. Bryleigh came into this world and was taken too soon but she was a fighter till the very end. Though her time on earth was short, she touched the lives of many and gave us a lifetime of love, and happiness and will forever remain in our hearts. Her family cherishes her memory as the brief gift it was.

She was greeted in Heaven by her great-grandparents: (maternal) Nadine and Johnny Stevens, and great uncles.

Bryleigh was the treasured infant and daughter and is mourned on earth by her parents, Jorge Mendoza and Terri Horton. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her siblings; Hudson, Yzabella and Wynter Mendoza. Maternal grandparents, Norma Stevens, and Mark Williams; Paternal grandparents, Maricela Mendoza Lara and Enrique Cerecedo Garcia; Aunts include, Lekeisha Horton and Araceli Tilley; Uncles are Jaime Mendoza, Jeff Tilley, Josh Williams, Dominick Hall and Marcus Combs. Her godmothers include Brenda Stevens, Vera Stevens and Kimberly Blare; special cousins include, Isaiah and Nevaeh Mendoza, Gabi, Angi, Jaslynn and Anthony Tilley, Jacob and Joshua Vilchis; special family members are Pamela Hall and Guadalupe Garsias.

A service celebrating Bryleigh Na' Shea Mendoza's precious life will be held on October 18, 2024 at Askew Funeral & Cremation Services at 2:00 PM with a visitation held one hour prior to service at the funeral home.

Interment will follow in Crestview Memorial Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Jaime Mendoza and Jeff Tilley, Honorary pallbearers are Jacob Vilchis, Joshua Vilchis and Anthony Tilley.
