Bobby Allen Martin of Milwaukee, NC passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at the age of 91. Born on March 12, 1935, he was the youngest of eight children born to the late Bealie Jesse Martin and Madie Allen Martin. He was also preceded in death by his siblings; Cleo Martin White, Bealie Martin, Jr., Janet Martin Hill, Bruce Martin, Stanley Martin and Maudie Leigh Martin McClain.

Bobby was a lifelong farmer whose hands tilled the earth and whose heart remained deeply rooted in the land he loved. Bobby never traveled far from the family farm where he was born because home was where his heart was. He is best described as a hard-working man with a creative mind and sense of humor. He was a lifetime member of Milwaukee Bethany Methodist Church.

Bobby is survived by his sister, Jewel Martin Britt. Though he never had children, he is loved by his surviving nieces and nephews and will be deeply missed.

On Wednesday, May 20, 2026, there will be a visitation beginning at 10:00 AM at Bethany Methodist Church in Milwaukee, NC. A funeral service will follow beginning at 11:00 AM, officiated by Rev. Carol Taylor. Burial will take place immediately after the service at the Milwaukee Cemetery.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the caregivers over the past year allowing Bobby to stay in the home he loved as long as possible.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a local animal shelter of your choice. The care of animals always held a special place in Bobby's heart.
