Billy Edward Strickland 55 of Halifax died Wednesday July 28, 2021. He was a member of Good News Baptist church and was employed at Halifax Linen. He was the son of the late Leon Donald Strickland He is survived by his wife, Michelle Gaylor Strickland; his daughter, Cindy Wright and her husband, Christopher of Halifax and his son James Strickland of Halifax; his mother Betty Strickland; his sister, Barbara Arthur of Crestview, Florida and his brother, Donnie Strickland of Roanoke Rapids. A Funeral Service will be held Monday August 2, 2021 at 11 am at Good News Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy King officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday from 4-5:30 at Askew Funeral and Cremation Services in Roanoke Rapids.
