Becky Mahaffey Hux of Chester, Virginia formerly Roanoke Rapids of died on Thursday December 7, 2021. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Mildred Mahaffey. She loved to read knit and crochet. She is survived by her husband, Ray Hux; her daughter, Melissa Wilkinson and her husband, Erik of Chester, Virginia; granddaughter, McKenzie Lee and her sister. Cindy M. Robinson and her husband, David of Roanoke Rapids; two brothers, Chuck Mahaffey and his wife, Tanya of Chester, Virginia and Randy Mahaffey and his wife, Karen of Lothian, Maryland. The family will receive friends Saturday January 8, 2022 at Askew Funeral and Cremation Services in Roanoke Rapids from 1-3 pm.
