Ardella DeLaMora passed away on June 11, 2020.
Ardella R. DeLaMora was born on January 26, 1989 in Rocky Mount, NC. She went to be with the Lord peacefully at her home on June 11, 2020. She was the daughter of Ruben and Bernella DeLaMora.
Ardella was a member of the Haliwa Saponi Tribe and a former member of Mt. Bethel Baptist Church.
Ardella was a stay at home Mom and loving mother to her two sons and soon to be mother to her first daughter. Everyone that knew Ardella just fell in love with her affectious smile. She had a heart of gold and personality that would light up the room.
Ardella is survived by her two sons, Raul M. DeLaMora and Braxton W. Fisher of the home, preceded with her Ava Marie DeLaMora. Her father, Ruben DeLaMora and mother Bernella DeLaMora, sister Maria DeLaMora (Gilberto) and Monica DeLaMora (Deceased), brother's Salvador (Michelle) DelaMora Ruben DeLaMora, Jr. Maternal grandparents, Johnnie and Irene Richardson and Clay Evans. Paternal grandparents Aureliano (and wife) DeLaMora, Juana Quintero and Grandma Donna Butts. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Cassidy Pleasant, Alejandro, Adam and Monica DeLaMora, and Erica and Jacob Turner and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives and multitude of friends.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 14, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Askew Funeral and Cremation Services in Roanoke Rapids. Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions the funeral home will be following social distancing guidelines and only allowing a limited number of guests to enter the funeral home at one time during visitation time. A private Graveside service will be held for the immediate family in Hollister.
