Ann Vaughan Burgess, 88 of Creeksville, NC passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2024.

She was born in Northampton County on January 30, 1936 to the late Leroy Vaughan and Willia Griffin Vaughan and was preceded in death by her husband, Linwood "Peter" Burgess and her son, Michael "Kevin" Burgess.

Ann is survived by her son, Currie Lynn Burgess of Conway, NC; her daughter, Nancy B. Harrell of Edenton, NC; her grandsons, Bradford Lee Harrell of Edenton, NC and Samuel Burgess of Conway, NC; her great-grandchildren, Brayden Harrell, Eli Harrell and Ethan Harrell of Edenton, NC and her brother, Arthur Vaughan of Roanoke Rapids, NC.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, September 15, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Creeksville Baptist Church with Rev. Currie Lynn Burgess officiating.

Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 14, 2024 from 6:30 pm until 8pm at Askew Funeral & Cremation Services – Jackson Chapel.
